Gap analysis and e-learning solution for a company whose business partners' understanding of the IT procurement process is causing frustration.
Gap Analysis:
Several gaps were identified in the current process of educating business partners on the IT software procurement process. These gaps included:
Lack of clarity: Business partners were not clear on the process involved in procuring software, leading to confusion and frustration.
Inadequate training: There was a lack of training available to business partners on the IT software procurement process, leading to a lack of understanding and difficulty navigating the process.
Outdated processes: The current processes for software procurement were outdated and did not reflect the latest best practices, leading to inefficiencies and delays.
Design:
In the design phase, I created an e-learning module that was specifically designed to address the identified gaps. The module included:
Clear and concise information: The e-learning module included clear and concise information on the IT software procurement process, which was designed to eliminate confusion and increase understanding.
Best practices: The e-learning module included the latest best practices for software procurement, which were designed to increase efficiency and reduce delays.
Development:
In the development phase, I created the e-learning video "7 steps to software" using Powtoons.
In the implementation phase, the e-learning module would be rolled out to business partners via the company's learning management system. Business partners would be given access to the module and encouraged to complete it at their own pace.
Evaluation:
In the evaluation phase, the learning designers conducted a range of metrics to determine the effectiveness of the e-learning module. These metrics included:
Completion rates: The percentage of business partners who completed the e-learning module.
Learner satisfaction: Feedback from business partners on the usefulness and effectiveness of the e-learning module.
Improvement in understanding: Improvement in business partners' understanding of the IT software procurement process after completing the e-learning module.
Improvement in efficiency: Improvement in the efficiency of the IT software procurement process after business partners completed the e-learning module.
